What we collect

When you book a table through the website we collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• The date and time of the booking
• The number of guests
• A message or request, if you write one

Your name, phone number and email address are needed so that we can handle your booking and reach you about it. You are not required by law to provide them, but without them we cannot accept the booking.

Why we process it

We use the data to handle your booking and to contact you about it, for example to confirm, change or cancel it.

Legal basis

The processing is necessary to perform the contract with you, that is your booking (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Beyond that we rely on our legitimate interest in running the restaurant and handling bookings (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long we keep it

Bookings are deleted after 12 months. You can ask us to delete your booking sooner.

Profiling and sale

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for profiling or automated decisions.

Who receives the data

The data is stored with our hosting provider Hostinger, on servers in the EU. Email, for example booking confirmations, is handled by our email provider. They process the data only on our behalf and under our instructions.

The hosting provider also keeps server logs (IP address, time and the page requested) for security reasons, for a limited time.

The data is processed within the EU/EEA unless we state otherwise.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have incorrect data corrected, to have your data erased and to request restriction of processing. You also have the right to receive your data in a machine-readable format (data portability) where applicable. Because we rely on legitimate interest, you also have the right to object to the processing (Article 21 GDPR). Contact us and we will help you. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).

Cookies and the map

We only use technically necessary cookies. The only one we set is your language choice, NEXT_LOCALE, so the site remembers whether you picked Swedish or English. We use no analytics or marketing cookies.

The map on the contact page is only fetched from Google when you click Show map. Nothing is sent to Google before that. Once you have shown the map, Google’s own terms and cookies apply.
